From 24 to 28 November 2025, the Embassy of Italy in Ashgabat celebrated the 10th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World with a programme of events at Lavka Berkarar.
Promoted annually by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the initiative showcases Italian cuisine and its connection to local traditions, regions and high-quality products.
In Ashgabat, chefs Edoardo Cartocci and Claudia Fabiani led culinary sessions on Italian risotto, tiramisu masterclasses and tastings. The programme also included three gourmet dinners for Italian language teachers and students, the business community and the international community.
The invitation-only events provided an opportunity to meet and engage through Italian culinary culture.
