On Friday, 8 May 2026, starting from 5:00 PM, the Italian Embassy in Ashgabat will organize a guided tour of the archaeological site of Parthian Nisa. The event is reserved for heads of diplomatic and international missions accredited in the capital, as well as for Turkmen institutional representatives working in the field of cultural heritage.
This occasion will celebrate the global commitment of Italian archaeological missions to the preservation and study of cultural heritage worldwide, one month after the conclusion of the archaeological exhibition “Ancient Civilizations of Turkmenistan,” held at the Capitoline Museums in Rome, which enjoyed significant public success.
