On March 14, the 8th edition of Italian Design Day Around the World was held, dedicated to “Creating Value: Inclusivity, Innovation, and Sustainability.” Architect Andrea Caputo, a renowned project designer and internationally acclaimed designer, a student of Professor Stefano Boeri and the owner of professional studios in Milan (since 2011) and Shanghai (since 2017), served as the spokesperson for Italian Design Day in Turkmenistan. He delivered lectures at various institutions, including the Institute of Architecture and Construction, the Academy of Fine Arts, Magtymguly University and IUHD, as well as the Isnokady Advanced Training Center.
Caputo also held meetings with the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Entrepreneurs. The IDD 2024 events in Ashgabat were furthermore part of a collaborative effort with “Made in Italy in the World” Day, held on April 15, and the opening of the Milan Furniture Fair.
