To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Italian Embassy in Turkmenistan, on May 22 the exhibition “Izzat Klychev and Italy” was inaugurated at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat. The exhibition was dedicated to the works of Master Klychev (October 10, 1923 – January 12, 2006) in Italy, who was an internationally renowned painter invited to participate in the Venice Biennale in 1964 and 1972.
The artworks, created during his travels to Italy in the 1960s and 1970s, depict the beauty and majesty of Italian architecture and landscapes, once again showcasing the cultural exchanges between Italy and Turkmenistan.
