On April 15, the first edition of the “Made in Italy Day” in Turkmenistan was successfully held. The event took place at the Business Centre of Arkaç, a newly inaugurated innovative shopping mall in Ashgabat, and was attended by over a hundred guests, including economic operators, Italian language students, local professionals, and enthusiasts of the Italian lifestyle. Coordinated by the Italian Embassy, the program featured the presentation of prestigious Italian brands active in Ashgabat in sectors such as Clothing, Furniture, Food, and Automation, as well as a conference showcasing the initiative outlined by Law 206/2023.

Participants enjoyed institutional and specially made videos, as well as a presentation by the coworking and training center Isnokady, which has organized a study tour to Italy in July for Turkmen high school students and their families to deepen their knowledge of our country.

The Italian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Luigi Ferrari, highlighted the positive evolution of commercial, economic, cultural, and entrepreneurial relations between Italy and Turkmenistan, expressing hope for further strengthening of ties with the opening of direct flights between the two countries. The meeting continued with speeches from Turkmen entrepreneurs collaborating with Italian companies, representing popular brands such as Paul & Shark, Stefano Ricci, Benetton, and Musetti.
