From February 12 to 14, the IX Edition of the Italian Design Day was held in Ashgabat, with this year’s theme being “Inequalities. Design for a Better Life.” The event featured Dr. Leandro Scalco, a designer from the company “Modenese Gastone Interiors Srl”, who led meetings at the Turkmenistan Academy of Fine Arts and the State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
The meetings focused on how design can be a tool to reduce inequalities and improve individuals’ daily well-being. They attracted numerous partners, professors, professionals, students, and designers, showcasing the strong interest of the Turkmen audience in Italian design.
