Ashgabat, 3 June, 2025. As part of the celebrations for the 79th Republic Day in Turkmenistan, we remembered the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone on the fifth anniversary of his death. Maestro Nello Salza, Maestro Morricone’s historic trumpeter, performed with the Turkmenistan Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Rasul Klychev and with Turkmen Soprano Bahar Durdyyeva. The concert “Remembering Ennio Morricone – Nello Salza in Turkmenistan” was held with great success at the National Theater “Magtymguly”, with the participation of a large enthusiastic audience, confirming the excellent level of cultural relations between Italy and Turkmenistan.
