The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Turkmenistan was celebrated with a concert by Neapolitan jazz maestro Antonio Onorato at the Magtymguly National Theatre. The artist performed a solo guitar concert, ranging from traditional Neapolitan melodies to contemporary musical sounds, culminating in a vibrant final performance of “Volare” in a duo with the extraordinary Turkmen artist Maysa Niyazova. The event also garnered great success among the youth audience during the classical guitar masterclass led by Maestro Onorato at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, in a context of profound admiration for the Italian musical landscape.
