On March 14, the 8th edition of the Italian Design Day (IDD) was held worldwide, dedicated to “Creating Value: Inclusivity, Innovation, and Sustainability.” Renowned architect and internationally acclaimed designer Andrea Caputo, student of Prof. Stefano Boeri, and owner of professional studios in Milan (since 2011) and Shanghai (since 2017), was the ambassador for the IDD in Turkmenistan. He delivered lectures at various institutions, including the Institute of Architecture and Construction, the Academy of Fine Arts, Magtymguly University, IUHD, and the Isnokady Higher Education Center. Caputo also held meetings with the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Entrepreneurs.
The IDD 2024 events in Ashgabat were part of a broader collaboration with the “Made in Italy Day” held on April 15 and the opening of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
