Inauguration of the exhibition “Izzat Klichev and Italy”

To mark the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Italian Embassy in Turkmenistan, the exhibition “Izzat Klychev and Italy” opened on May 22 at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat.

The exhibition is dedicated to the period of work of Maestro Klychev (October 10, 1923 – January 12, 2006) in Italy.

Izzat Klychev, an internationally renowned artist, was invited to participate in the Venice Biennale in 1964 and 1972. His works, created during his travels around Italy in the 1960s and 1970s, depict the beauty and grandeur of Italian architecture and nature, reflecting the cultural exchange between Italy and Turkmenistan.
