On September 12th, a concert was held at the Magtymguly Theatre in Ashgabat to celebrate the centenary of Giacomo Puccini’s death and the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Italian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The event featured performances by Italian tenor Matteo Lippi and Turkmen opera singers Bakhar Durdyyeva and Gozel Annahanova, accompanied by the Turkmenistan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Rasul Klychev.
The event further showcased the strong cultural and friendly ties between Italy and Turkmenistan.
