Awaza, 5–8 August 2025: The Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan participated in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in Awaza from 5 to 8 August 2025. At this global forum, attended by the UN Secretary-General and numerous heads of state, Italy reaffirmed its strong commitment to supporting the development of landlocked countries, including through the “Mattei Plan for Africa.”
