Ashgabat, 13 March 2026: from 9 to 13 March, the second training course for young diplomats from the countries of Central Asia took place in Ashgabat. We participated in the official opening of the course at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mahri Byashimova. The course was jointly organized by the United Nations System in Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and brought together five young officials from each of the five participating countries (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan), with financial support from Italy and the United Kingdom. This initiative represents the consolidation of a regional training model that could serve as an example for similar educational initiatives in other areas of public administration as well.
